This course covers the Paediatric Basic Life Support. You will learn how to recognize a cardiac arrest, and how to respond. You will learn when, and how, to perform CPR in children over 1 year old and babies younger than 1 year old. You will learn how to use the AED and how to act in the event of a severe airway obstruction. This course takes you step by step through the algorithm and explains with video instructions how to perform the actions. This course is based on the guidelines of the Dutch Resuscitation Council (NRR).

Theory
The theory contains the teaching material for this course. Going through the theory contributes to the overall result of 10%.

Knowledge test
The knowledge test contains a set of questions about the theory. You may start the knowledge test several times. The highest score will be used in the calculation. The knowledge test contributes 40% to the overall result.
